Florida AI Research™ Launches Global Institutional Research Platform for AI, Cybersecurity, Safety and Quantum Technology

Florida AI Research LLC launches a global institutional research platform focused on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, AI safety, governance and quantum technology.

Headquartered in Florida, the organization is structured around a global research mandate. Its work examines the technical systems, governance models, security controls and research infrastructure required as advanced technologies move from experimentation into consequential institutional use.

The initial publication program combines global systems research with selected jurisdiction-specific studies where local policy, infrastructure or market conditions materially affect the analysis. Research is prepared for executives, boards, technology and security leaders, researchers, investors, universities and public institutions that require traceable evidence and operating-level analysis.

Research mandate

Artificial intelligence is increasingly an infrastructure and operating-model question. Compute, data, model behavior, cybersecurity, machine identity, human oversight, external dependencies and governance controls operate as one connected system. Florida AI Research is organized around that systems view.

Artificial IntelligenceCompute, models, agentic systems, enterprise architecture, applied AI and institutional adoption.
CybersecurityCyber resilience, identity, critical systems, software dependencies, incident readiness and AI-era threat exposure.
AI SafetyEvaluation, operational safeguards, human oversight, model behavior, agent permissions and assurance.
AI GovernanceAccountability, evidence, risk classification, monitoring, jurisdictional mapping and institutional controls.
Quantum TechnologyQuantum computing, sensing, networking, post-quantum security, validation and research capacity.
Systems ResearchCross-domain analysis connecting infrastructure, security, governance, safety and institutional performance.

Global institutional research

The research program is not limited to the Florida market. Florida is the organization’s institutional base; publication scope is determined by the research question. Global studies examine common technical and governance systems, while jurisdiction-specific publications identify the legal, policy, infrastructure or market conditions that materially change an institutional decision.

Publications are designed to distinguish observed evidence from announced plans, deployed capability from stated ambition, enacted requirements from proposals, and source facts from Florida AI Research analysis.

“Artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and quantum technologies are becoming core layers of institutional infrastructure across markets. The research challenge is to understand these systems together—how capability, security, governance and assurance interact once technology moves into consequential operations.”

“Florida is our institutional base, but the research mandate is global. The objective is to build a publication standard that is useful to boards, technology leaders, researchers and public institutions wherever they are operating, with clear evidence boundaries and analysis that can be examined rather than simply accepted.”

Adriano Palmieri · Chairman & CEO · Florida AI Research™

Research designed for institutional decisions

The publication program focuses on operating questions that affect institutional decisions: where technical capability is becoming durable, how cyber exposure changes as autonomy increases, what evidence is required for AI assurance, how governance translates into enforceable controls and how quantum development changes security and infrastructure planning.

Formats include research briefs, institutional field notes, technology outlooks, governance frameworks, cybersecurity studies, executive research and cross-disciplinary systems analysis. Publications may be revised as source data changes, new evidence becomes available or material developments alter an earlier assessment.

Evidence and methodology

Florida AI Research prioritizes primary public sources, technical standards, official institutional material, attributable datasets and documented methodology. Research is structured to preserve an evidence boundary between what a source establishes and what the organization concludes from that evidence.

Where relevant, publications document source records, methodological limitations, jurisdictional scope and uncertainty. Correction and update practices are maintained for research covering fast-moving technical fields.

Publication program

The launch library includes a State of Artificial Intelligence in Florida baseline alongside globally framed research on cybersecurity resilience, AI governance, quantum technology, AI safety for critical infrastructure and agentic AI cyber resilience. This structure establishes a model in which regional intelligence can coexist with research intended for institutions operating across markets.

Future research is expected to extend across secure AI infrastructure, model and agent assurance, post-quantum security, advanced computing, technology risk, institutional readiness and the operating architecture required for dependable intelligent systems.
